Claire grew up in Masterton and spent most of her childhood in the Wairarapa before heading south to the University of Otago to study Dental Therapy. After university, she lived in Wellington for eight years, building a successful career in the dental industry before returning to Masterton. What was initially meant to be a temporary move quickly became permanent as she rediscovered everything she loved about the region.
One of the things Claire values most about the Wairarapa is its strong sense of community. She enjoys running into familiar faces around town and loves being part of a place where people genuinely know and care about one another. Having grown up locally, there’s something special about being recognised by people who have known her and her family for years.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys gardening, art and music, and loves playing the violin. With a large extended family, there’s always a gathering, celebration or catch-up keeping her busy.
Claire spent 15 years working in the dental industry before taking time away from her career to raise her family. She has since returned to the workforce and brings a wealth of life experience to her role at RIVAL Wealth. Known for her warmth, compassion and approachable nature, Claire has a natural ability to put people at ease and make them feel welcome.
