Born and raised in Taihape, Liana joined the Royal New Zealand Navy and moved to Auckland at the age of 18. Liana has travelled the world on various ships and eventually settled in Wellington. As part of a military family, Liana and her wife – who is in the Army – have moved around New Zealand, with postings overseas in London and Canberra.

Liana is a newcomer to the Wairarapa, having moved here in 2024. She loves the relaxed lifestyle, being closer to family, and the convenience of Wellington City being nearby. Liana enjoys a variety of activities available in the region, especially for families, and appreciates the summer weather.

Outside of work, Liana loves listening to music, watching sports, and movies, and going on adventures with her wife and children.

Liana has an impressive resume of administrative experience from working in the Navy, the Military Police HQ, the Australian National University, Allied Health HQ in the New Zealand Defence Force, and SportsCare and Physiotherapy practice in Canberra. Liana brings a high attention to detail, a friendly and approachable manner, and fantastic customer service to the team.
